November 4, 2005, "Maggies
Friday Night Dances", London, Ontario, Maggie certainly
knows the music her dancers like. She played a very good mix of Social and latin
with a little International thrown in. .She obviously has an excellent large
selection of music to draw from. She holds her dances at the Polish Hall
on Hill St. It has an excellent wood floor. Very smooth.
The dance guests were nicely dressed. And the age varied from the 30s to
70s.with a few singles but mostly couples. The building has a large parking lot.
There were beginner dancers as well as top experienced dancers. We had a
beautiful evening of dancing.

June 11, 2004, I and a dance friend visited "Danceland
Lakeside Resort" which is in Lakeside ,Ontario. We went to one of their
numerous dances. On this particular occasion,
DJ-Wolfman played music for
primarily International dancers. All dancers were
very well dressed. The music just could not be better. The selection of music
and sound system were the very best you could expect. The excellent wood
floor was large enough to accommodate 250 to 300 dancers. The layout of the
building reminded of the days gone by where you would go through a turnstile and
pay 10 cents per dance. This is one dance you should not miss. It is held
each month . I will be there again.
July 23, 2004, We had such a good evening of
dancing at the "Danceland Lakeside Resort" in Southern Ontario, Canada,
last month that I and one of my lady friends again visited this ballroom. The
atmosphere, the music, the floor, the warm friendly dancers could not have been
better anywhere in the world. It was the best. And if there is any chance
that you can visit this club next month with the same dancers, the same DJ you
will find that the same dancers will be there that have been there since these
dances started two months ago. I can really see this location becoming booked
with reservations only accepted in the future. When a location is the very best,

Ontario. For those dancers that look for a high quality ballroom, DJ Music
played by a DJ who was a ballroom dancer prior to becoming a DJ, A sound systems
that sounds like the real band playing while your dancing and all along side of
dancers who are nicely dressed, polite and obviously very happy that they are a
part of the very best dance facilidty in Western Ontario. The monthly dance put
on by the DJ -" Wolfeman"
and the owners of the Lakeside Dance pavilion, Arn and Fran Pearson is a must to
visit. It's worth the drive. You won't forget it , ever. Lakeside is only 15
