THE DANCING INDUSTRY HAS THE ABILITY TO INSTILL A HEALTHY FAMILY ENVIRONMENT INTO ITS HISTORY THROUGH DANCING. ___________________________________________________________________________

HOW CAN WE  "DANCE TEACHERS"  INCREASE THE INTEREST IN BALLROOM DANCING IN  FAMILIES ?

Here is a program brought to my attention this past month and since my life has been primarily marketing, I really believe this can work.  But with some effort.

Here is what a studio can do to increase its business.

1) List all families in homes in its area.  That should be up to 1000 homes.  Either phone the families or visit the homes to get their eMail addresses if they have any.  What you might say to them is  "I am a local dance teacher who would like to give you and your children FREE dance lesssons"

 That is not easy. But it's important to achieve positive end results.

2) Send an eMail to the families and or individuals with the following message - Boys under 14 years of age will get free lessons at our studio.  Families can take Free Adult Dance lessons for one hour during a group lesson. Dances will be held for another 2 or 3 hours after the group lesson at a nominal $10.00 charge for adults only. Children under 14 will not be charged to also attend the dance with their parents.   This dancing environment will help the adults and children to practice what they have learned during the teaching session.
